PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Course
Overview
With this course you become a licences teach how to become a O2 Provider. Again it is required by law that you have this course to provide O2 to a student. As a teach this can increase the amount certs (and doubles your money!) you get when doing a Rescue course. But more importantly if you just teach a Rescue course you're students will know how to provide oxygen but not actually be licensed to provide it. This can cause problems with suing ect as you will not be licences. With this course you can provide oxygen safely and legally.
You learn how to:
- Recognize diving illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen
- Properly setup equipment
- Be the one ready to help a fellow diver should the need arise by becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider.
- Breathe easy knowing that you know how to recognize illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen. Being the best buddy you can be means being prepared – especially in a time of need.
Providing emergency oxygen is an important first aid step for near drowning and decompression illness. You’ll be able to train divers and nondivers to provide oxygen in an emergency. There is no scuba diving prerequisite for this course.
