Prerequisites for the IDC:
* PADI Divemaster or equivalent
* CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months
* 18 years old
* 60 logged dives
* Certified diver for at least 6 months
* Medical signed by a physician within 12 months

How to prepare:
During the two-day preparation program you will analyze all areas of the dive theory: Physics, Physiology, Skills and Environment, Decompression and the RDP, and all the Equipment.
In our swimming pool we run you conduct a PADI skill circuit as well as a rescue skill circuit.
Review the Diving Knowledge Workbook and complete all of the Divemaster exams using the Encyclopedia of Diving as a reference. This Qualification you should have before undertaking the IDC course as familiarity with these diving techniques will allow you to focus on how to teach during the program. Answering all Knowledge Reviews in the Instructor Candidate Workbook and becoming accustomed with the Instructor Manual is highly recommended.
